Cummins VS Duramax!

I’Ve been wrapping up. One of my last semesters at school, but stoked to be filming another video back on the youtube grind. So today we’re headed out to miami i’m actually with the pops he’s down from good old jersey and we’re in the 6-0, which a lot of you guys have also been asking about. So hopefully we can give you guys a little update and whatnot. They just got down from a long journey of a road trip getting down here so but right now we’re headed out to the miami area, we’re going to be filming a pretty nasty, cummins and duramax, so we’ll be kind of doing an overview of both of them.

 

 

 

Trucks and hopefully see some races, see some burnouts, so we’re going to be heading out there looking forward to a badass video hope you guys enjoy and i’ll see you guys there so we’re over here. With both these badass trucks, we got a duramax and a cummins. So this thing i already see all the shiny goodies in here if you want to start off kind of giving us an idea. What’S done to this, this rig right here. It’S got.

Uh fuel wise has dual pumps 12 mil over stock fast 165 uh injectors. There are 170 overs and then air wise. It’S a forced induction, s480, 96, 132 housing, big boy on a ronin t4 manifold no case yet got ta, get gates um on three intercooler. What year is this truck? Oh seven.

 

 

 

Last five: nine. Oh seven. Five! Nine motor wise motor, wise, pretty stock still on stock studs, stuck bob train, everything’s, pretty stock um and then trans wise. It’S a fully built goran.

 

 

 

It’S got quadruple disc, um, high stall, 2400 stall, billet input, output, everything’s billet, pretty built trans uh valve body. It’S a high pressure, vault body yeah, pretty much it stock high lowered in the back on the 325 45 race masters. I saw these. They look pretty sick. I might need to invest in a pair of these as well, how you like them good yeah.

They roll pretty good, they stick good, it still spins them i’ll still rip them at 80 miles an hour, but it’s pretty good. What do you think uh without like if you had to take a guess power wise? Where would you take your guess where it’s around, with tuning and whatnot now i’d say a solid 700 um, close to a little over 700 yeah with this setup and the tuning and whatnot? If i live, but it’s more like basic tunes on the efi lives, i’m sure with the right tuning, You could probably uh definitely bring that number up. Yeah yeah i’ll, probably break the break.

 

 

The thousand that’s my goal for it next year, so yeah Now this thing’s clean, though all the pipes i did with my buddy. All these are custom made and the whole engine bay is really clean. Batteries are just where are they hidden At i put the batteries in the bed. That’S sweet see we got back here, the redneck supra, yes, sir, so we also got this pretty badass lbz over here on what the forces right forces yeah looks. Good, So i see what you got working with this thing, so it’s a oh six, duramax 6.

 

 

 

 liter. Obviously it has a 64 millimeter dense diesel performance, turbo 10 mil stroker pump from industrial injection has a intake, fleece, lift pump, fully built suncoast, converter and uh. That’S about it and tuned egr delete no injectors, Yet i’m planning to do uh. 

I think i’m gon na go 40s 40 over injectors and i’m probably going to hood stack it just for fun for the fun of it. Yeah  turbo sounds so nasty.

 

 

 

That’S about it! Ellie badass is this leveled right now or yeah it’s leveled and it has on uh on the kryptonite level, with 22 by 12s on 33s toyotas set up super clean. Thank you. 

 

The trunks beautiful too man, It’S been a florida truck, it’s life, It’S whole life yeah. Actually, i got purchased in georgia, the original owner and i’m the third owner of it, but got purchased in georgia.

It got brought down to florida and it’s been a florida truck for for its whole life, sweet yeah. It looks rust, free 

 

The whole truck looks really nice. So what do you think with this duramax versus the cummins over there? How do you? How do you think this may uh turn out and your guess he says he says it’s uh, it’s a thousand horsepower capable common.

 

 

 

So i don’t know if uh the old durmax has has anything for it. Well, we’ll see, i think it should be pretty competitive. It should be a good race if you say so. What about you? What are you thinking?

Let’S see when i get it to light up i’ll, definitely give you a good race. You think you think it’ll be pretty competitive. Oh yeah, i just got to get that turbo light up. Is that what you battle with sometimes lighting up that big turbo? Definitely definitely i got to put it in second gear on the on the shifter and then give it a lot of rpms and just throw it in drive and it’ll lock up and it’s gone dude.

I think this should be a good one: lbz duramax, it’s five, nine cummins, who are you picking? Let’S get her going,they’re about to get a roll race in they should be doing, i think around the 50 roll. I know the cummins is having a little bit of a hard time lighting up that big turbo. But what do you guys think who’s gon na win this race, cummins or duramax?

I guess we will see it’s a hard one. I don’t know, I know the cummins got a lot of potential, but i know that duramax makes some power as well so, 50 year old, so interior. Why? This thing looks pretty clean, too huh. What you got going on in here: gauges: fuel pressure, fuel, rail pressure, trans tent boost egts, and then i got my fuel pump here.The front fans, trans fans – that’s i put my ecm and my my abs controller down here around all the wiring behind the dash, And i put my my um fuse box behind the glove box Kind of like a battleship 

 

Did that’s sweet hidden too, wouldn’t even see it. I like the seat belts too harnesses nice harnesses, got all the tools on the back because you know dodge street truck things Yep. So what we got going on over here, man is that help me spool up the turbo. Get the tire spinning got the tire shine going on the ground this man’s about to do a burnout looks like she’s about ready for another burnout:; Okay, let’s go 

 

You don’t want a light, so we ended up cutting the races a little bit short. The cummins was having some issues spooling up that big turbo, so tuning wise and everything ain’t really dialed in with the tunes he has in it now.

So they got that one good street race in that you guys saw it lit up, and that was super competitive, but we’re gon na be ending up doing a rematch where we could do some dig racing, burnouts and stuff like that, because next month he’s going to Be getting on the dyno and completely getting it dialed in and ready to go! In the meantime, a lot of you guys have been asking about my dad’s 6-0, where it’s been what’s going on, this bad boy has been through some more heart surgery um. So if you guys want to see some more videos on this i’ll, give you guys a quick little rundown, he did a brand new bottom end.

He ended up having to do. He did o-ringed heads ar p625s, the whole nine yards with this thing um and he plans on doing some power here at some point. It just got a power max stage, one in it and it’s got a built stage. 

 

Two trans from wise rated for 750 800 horsepower so pretty much whole motor’s fresh trans is fresh just as a power max and uh he’s ready to probably do like a kc stage two and some bigger injectors. But here the truck is for any of you, guys that haven’t seen it show you a little walk around.

 

 

 

This is a 0.660. It’S got 20 by 12 anthems on 35 1250s, some headlights straight pipe the whole nine of what i mentioned already and we’re gon na 

 

Be putting some new tunes on this truck, you had some other tunes on it, but with the whole rebuild and whatnot, we plan on spicing it up a little bit, see what we could do, if any of you guys want to see some burnouts more racing and Overall, just more sound clips of this truck leave that down in the comments below, but let’s now break into picking the winner for the giveaway and who doesn’t like the sound of a good old 6-0.
