Today, we’re taking a quick look at the F-350 Lariat with the high output engine before we go for a driving review. This truck comes with the Lariat ultimate package, but what we’re interested in is the high output engine.

The high output engine is still the 6.7 liter power stroke diesel, but Ford has made some improvements to increase its power output to around 500 horsepower. That’s 25 horsepower more than the standard power stroke diesel. But the real difference is in the torque. With the high output engine, you’ll get a whopping 20% more torque, which translates to around 200 extra horsepower.

Overall, the high output engine is a significant improvement over the standard power stroke diesel. With its increased power and torque, it’s sure to impress anyone who gets behind the wheel. Stay tuned for our driving review to see how it performs on the road.

In this video, the presenter takes a look at the new 6.7 high output Power Stroke engine in the Ford F-350 Lariat Ultimate. The engine boasts Best in Class numbers and is said to be better than the high output Cummins diesel on the Rams. While driving, the presenter speculates that the difference may not be noticeable during regular driving, but it will be noticeable when pulling something on hills.

The headlights on the Lariat Ultimate do not change, and if you want improved LED projector headlights, you have to bump up to higher trim levels. The 6.7 Power Stroke badge has been changed to make it look more distinct, so everyone knows that you paid extra for the boost in power. The standard 6.7 liter Power Stroke diesel costs around $10,000, while the high output version costs around $12,495.

The presenter notes that the standard Power Stroke engine has been available for over 12 years and has a lot of miles on it. Unless you’re pulling something heavy, it’s unclear how much of an improvement the high output engine would be. The presenter does not do a towing review with the truck, as it is a customer order.

The interior of the truck is shown, with a darker black color and maroon accents. The Lariat Ultimate package includes an 18-speaker Unleashed system with speakers in the headrests. The multi-contour seats have extra support around the sides, but they are not part of the Lariat Ultimate package.

The presenter takes the truck for a quick spin and shows off the heads-up display. The display has a cool new startup sequence that can be adjusted for brightness, vertical position, and rotation. The display can also be customized to show different drive modes and information. The presenter notes that the tow haul mode will keep you from getting into the red line zone, while the off-road mode will give you pitch, roll, and return radius information.

Overall, the presenter’s first look at the 6.7 high output Power Stroke engine in the Ford F-350 Lariat Ultimate is positive. While the difference may not be noticeable during regular driving, it will be noticeable when pulling something on hills. The heads-up display is also a cool new feature that can be customized to show different information.

When it comes to engines, torque is a crucial factor to consider. It refers to the rotational force that an engine can produce, and it is what allows a vehicle to accelerate quickly and tow heavy loads. In a recent video, the presenter discussed the difference between two engines in terms of their torque output.

The first engine produces 1050 pound-feet of torque, while the second engine produces 1200 pound-feet of torque. This means that the second engine is capable of producing an additional 20 pound-feet of torque, which is a significant difference.

The presenter emphasized that this extra torque can make a big difference in terms of the engine’s performance. It can allow the vehicle to accelerate more quickly, tow heavier loads, and handle steep inclines with greater ease. In short, it can make the vehicle more capable and versatile.

It’s worth noting that torque is not the only factor to consider when evaluating an engine’s performance. Other factors, such as horsepower, fuel efficiency, and reliability, are also important. However, torque is a key metric that can give you a good sense of how powerful an engine is and what it is capable of.

In conclusion, the difference between 1050 pound-feet of torque and 1200 pound-feet of torque may not seem like much on paper, but it can make a significant difference in terms of an engine’s performance. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle or engine, be sure to consider the torque output and how it will impact your driving experience.

In this video, the presenter takes a look at the new high output option for the Ford Super Duty’s 6.7 Power Stroke engine. While the standard option has been class-leading for 12 years, the high output option offers an extra 20 torque, making it easier to pull heavy loads. However, the presenter notes that the extra power may not make a significant difference for those who are already satisfied with the standard option.

The presenter also discusses the confusion around the different versions of Ford’s lane-keeping technology, which can be unclear for customers and even dealerships. They demonstrate the heads-up display and adaptive cruise with lane centering, which feels like the truck is actively keeping them in the lane.

The presenter takes the truck for a spin and notes that it feels like a powerful truck with 500 horsepower and a lot of torque. They suggest that the high output option may be ideal for those who tow heavy loads with steep elevation in their routes, as the extra power will make it easier to tow in steeper terrain. However, the high output option does not increase towing capacity, which is tied to suspension.

The presenter also discusses the price difference between the standard and high output options, which is about $13,000. They suggest that customers who do not need the extra power can save money by sticking with the standard option.

Overall, the presenter provides a quick overview of the new high output option for the Ford Super Duty’s 6.7 Power Stroke engine and offers insights into its potential benefits for customers who tow heavy loads. They also highlight the confusion around Ford’s lane-keeping technology and the importance of understanding the different engine options to make an informed decision.
